It’s Almost Here: Pre-Royal Wedding Preparation

So close, you can almost taste it. The most anticipated event this year, the royal wedding, is now just days away. Kate Middleton and Prince William will join hands in marriage Friday.

We will see then if practice makes perfect, as the wedding rehearsal took place Wednesday morning.

"It was a dry run," Sherelle Newton stated, who was on location this morning. "Everyone was figuring out where they should be on Friday. But they were careful to make sure the crowds would be able to see Kate."

We hear from PEOPLE Middleton was guarded by thousands of military personnel.

"There were hundreds and hundreds of mounted military, all on horseback," another onlooker Janelle Howell confirmed. "And then the cars and coaches came. Dozens of them. And people got out of each car and entered the church, just like the guests will. It was quite the spectacle."

CNN  reports the bride-to-be will stay overnight in the Goring Hotel prior to the wedding. Her and her father will leave Friday morning at 10:51 am.

The royal wedding is expected to make $2 billion through digital audience.

As a celebrity gossip lover, I highly anticipate this wedding. It has been talked about for quite some time, so I can’t wait to see how the whole thing goes. I don’t know about anyone else, but I expect to see the most elaborate wedding and dress that I ever see in my lifetime.

Jersey Shore: GTL shutdown?

Don’t fist pump too hard, Jersey Shore fans. This season may not be what you’re expecting.

We hear from TMZ  the show will take place in Florence because "it's young, walkable, fashionable, and beautiful in springtime."

But officials may have something to say about it.

A report from The New York Post  confirms Matteo Renzi, Florence’s mayor, laid down a few production rules.

-No filming in bars and clubs that serve alcohol

-No filming of the cast drinking in public.

-Florence will not be promoted as a drinking town.

-No filming in Florence’s historic buildings. With that said, Renzi said that he “could not ban them from using the city as a set.”

-”The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature it’s culture and good food.”

Exclusive: Michael and Lindsay Reunite in the Actress' Venice Apartment

It’s never a dull moment for the Lohan family, which they even further proved this weekend.

Michael Lohan showed up at Lindsay’s apartment in Venice, CA Sunday, not an ordinary occurrence for them. At first the troubled star hid in a closet until he left, then had a fast change of heart and let him in.

There is no report on why Lindsay changed her mind-I’m not too sure I understand it, either.

Lohan and his family have not been on speaking terms since the estrangement.

The former Celebrity Rehab patient confirmed to RadarOnline he has in fact been spending time with estranged daughter.

“I am with my daughter,” he stated in a report Monday.

Sources told TMZ the actress was sitting home this morning enjoying bagels and relaxing with her father.

Not going to lie, this shocked me. Her mother and siblings have all recently changed her last name from “Lohan” back to her mother’s maiden name, and the troubled star has said she wants to only go by Lindsay.

Michael has his own problems, just like his daughter. Recently he has been accused of abusing his former girlfriend, who wanted to get a restraining order.

At the end of it all, I am happy for them. Children should look up to their parents and confide in them for love and support when needed. Them not speaking could have a lot to do with Lindsay’s off the wall, spontaneous behavior.

Perhaps a little father-daughter time can set aside their differences?

‘Harry Potter’ series goes e-Book?

Watch out, Oprah. JK Rowling is re-thinking e-Books, an idea she once rejected for her Harry Potter series. The opportunity could skyrocket her billion dollar net worth, making her the second wealthiest woman in entertainment.

"The e-book format is now something that is being actively considered," Rowling’s agent Neil Blair confirmed, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the past she’s been skeptical, yet times are changing. Devices such as Kindle and iPad are becoming more popular in usage, leaving her the potential to make $100 million more from the e-books.

“I wouldn't be too surprised if the rights for the e-books are sold for $100 million,” BookBrunch editor Liz Thomson stated. “Experts believe the move could revolutionize the world of electronic publishing, triggering rocketing sales of e-book readers such as the Kindle and the iPad.”

Harry Potter has sold roughly 450 million copies. Stirling University director of international publishing and communications Claire Squires told The Christian Science Monitor, “It is akin to the Beatles allowing their music to be launched on iTunes.”

Oregonlive.com reports Rowling made 18 times as many electronic sales within the last year as she did in 2009.

Enrique Iglesias Pulls Out Of Britney Spears Tour

Sorry if this ruins anyone else’s day as it did mine…Enrique responded to Britney’s <i>Good Morning America</i> statement, confirming they will not be touring together this summer. The <i>I Like It</i> singer, who is currently on tour in Europe, was supposed to co-headline with Spears rather than just open the show.

Sources tell MTV that Spears lowered the Iglesias’ guaranteed pay.

"Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together. Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album Euphoria," his spokesperson stated. "Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone."

In other Iglesias news, ShowBizSpy reports the singer continues to date tennis player Anna Kournikova, but they have no serious plans as of yet.

Britney’s statement was a tease, and very unfair. I am a huge fan of both singers, and think it would be amazing if they were to actually go on tour together. While MTV also spoke of possible negotiations, it doesn’t seem promising after what his spokesperson says. However, Britney is talented, and a phenomenal performer, so she doesn’t need a co-headliner or someone to share the spotlight with. With or without Iglesias, I’m still going to jump on the bandwagon for these tickets.

Oh, and not to mention, I’m still bitter that him and Anna Kournikova are still going strong. He is so good looking, and, yes, I’m going there, but who wouldn’t want to be that girl he sings about in his songs? ;)

Elizabeth Taylor's Influence Lives On In Pop Culture

A tragic day in Hollywood today-legend and AIDS activist Elizabeth Taylor has passed away at age 79, leaving her mark on some of the biggest names in the industry.

Women continue to model themselves after Taylor today, MTV reports. Between hair, makeup, and big, gaudy jewelry, she was a woman who housewives strived to be.

Taylor, the first celebrity AIDS activist, was also well known for her marriages and love-life. Tabloids were eating her up, and, according to Access Hollywood, she was married eight times to seven different men.

“I am not putting the failure of my marriages off on anyone but myself,” she once told them.

She became involved with AIDS awareness in 1985, after losing dear friend Rock Hudson. Raising money and standing up for what she feels strongly about influenced Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Madonna to do the same.

Elizabeth Taylor will forever be a Hollywood legend.

I heard she was sick for awhile, but with strong chances and hope of getting better. I was shocked this morning to hear the news. However, she lived her life to the fullest, and got so much out of it, which is all one can hope for in a time like this. I admire her talent and philanthropic contributions and feel more celebrities should follow in her footsteps. It’s a shame when people are so wealthy but won’t donate for anything, or when they’re too involved with themselves to make a difference. Stars gain a great deal of respect when they take part in charitable functions, and it would be great for more to get involved.

I also hope the fashion trends of Taylor continue to carry on into upcoming generations. 

Charlie Sheen May Find New Home on Mark Cuban's HDNet: Report

Billionaire Mark Cuban knows exactly how to bring the money in...rumor has it he may have work for Charlie Sheen, developing programming for HDNet. They have been in serious talks lately about the proposition.

This would be a step up from Sheen’s Korner, his new webcast series, which was severely ridiculed by viewers. Cuban, also owner of Dallas Mavericks, feels it could be great material for his network.

ABC reports after 45 minutes, online ratings dropped from 116,000 to 92,000. He revealed his tattoo and concluded with a poem.

"Everybody wants to critique a web show that got put together in a few hours," Cuban said, according to the Daily News ."That's not the point. It gave him a chance to be himself and have some fun. The thing I like most about Charlie is that he just loves to mess with the media. You guys fall hook, line and sinker."

Sheen is still out for revenge for CBS after being fired from sitcom Two and a Half Men. His interviews have everyone talking, and everyday seems to be something different.

Cuban mentioned either a talk show or reality show, according to ESPN. However, there have not been any confirmations yet.

"We're trying to decide," Cuban explained about production. "Right now, we're taping a lot of different things that he's doing and we'll try to figure it out. It's still not 100 percent certain."

He added, "We'll do something together, but it's not certain it will be a show. It'll come down to what he wants to do and what his situation is. We'll just figure it out from there, but it's a unique opportunity, I'll say that."

HDNet hosts MMA fights, a Girls Gone Wild series, and a show with Dan Rather. It could be the perfect home for Charlie Sheen and his party hard, not caring what anyone thinks attitude.

My honest opinion is as much as everyone complains about him, people like Mark Cuban need to stop adding fuel to his fire. Perhaps a new show with a different network and partners will be a nice fresh start for him...or maybe not. He'll probably make some reformed playboy mansion with the Girls Gone Wild stars if you ask me

Christina Aguilera`s `Drinking out of Control`

Christina and Charlie Sheen have been stealing all the Hollywood attention lately...it may seem to some like she's following his lead. Still reamed for messing up lines in the national anthem, Christina Aguilera was once again publicly humiliated. She and beau Matthew Rutler were arrested for alcohol-related conflicts, Tueday.

Rutler was pulled over for suspicion of public intoxication, while the pop star was drunk in public.

“When she got out of the car, she couldn't stand, chief public information officer Whitmore stated in the Daily India. “ We had to help her stand. She didn't know where she was and she didn't know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection.”

Police aren’t the only ones concerned for Christina’s welfare. Sources close to her say alcohol is quite the issue. They have been insisting for weeks that she get help, according to Monsters and Critics.

"Her drinking is out of control. She's a total mess," one stated.

Aguilera was released at 7:30am with a bail of $250. Rutler was held with a $300,000 bail, according to a Boston Herald article.

Christina goes through a lot of different phases, from good girl, to rebel, back to good girl, and now this. There have been several instances now where she's been in some kind of drunk mess, so maybe rehab isn't a bad idea. 

George Clooney: 'Did Too Many Drugs,' Slept With 'Too Many Chicks' to Be a Politician

George Clooney is taking the center of attention today in the entertainment news world...Hollywood actor and activist George Clooney, 49, has been discussed as a possible democratic candidate. However, he made it very clear today that he may not be cut out to work in the political system.

"I didn't live my life in the right way for politics, you know," the actor, 49, stated in The Hollywood Reporter.  "I f----- too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that's the truth." 

Clooney does however feel that politicians should be honest about their pasts and move forward with why they will make the best candidate.

In a quote from PEOPLE, Clooney explained that “a savvy political figure "would start from the beginning by saying, 'I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let's talk about issues,' "he says."That's gonna be my campaign slogan: 'I drank the bong water.' " 

Clooney also explains that even not in political office he will still stay involved with helping world issues.  

I have a lot of respect for George Clooney. I think he's a talented actor with a good head on his shoulders, and he's done a lot of work to help world causes. I'm not surprised hearing the discussion of whether or not he would be a good democratic candidate because it seems that a lot of celebrities are really trying to get more involved in our government system and almost prove to the world that they have what it takes. I also loved his campaign slogan because he does get the point across. It reminds me of when Obama admitted to smoking tobacco and it causing controversy. My opinion is who cares? Are they going to do a good job with the position? That's where you vote from, not on personal life. 

Billy Ray Says ‘Hannah’ Destroyed His Family

No one saw this one coming...Singer/actor Billy Ray Cyrus is blaming daughter Miley’s hit show Hannah Montana for tearing his family apart. He has not spoken to Miley since videos were posted of Miley using the legal substance salvia, and he has been separated from estranged wife Tish since the fall.

“That damn show destroyed my family,” he stated in an interview with GQ magazine. “I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody okay, safe and sound and happy and normal.”

According to the San Francisco Examiner, Billy Ray never made profit off Hannah Montana.

“For the record, to set it straight, I want to tell you: I’ve never made a dime off of Miley," he said. "You got a lot of people have made percentages off of her. I’m proud to say to this day I’ve never made one commissioned dollar, or dime, off of my daughter.”

Reports from ABC and FOX News both state that Cyrus wishes he could have protected his daughter more, and he wishes he could shelter her from the dangers.

Miley has two movies premiering this year. She has not spoken to her father since the salvia incident.

When I found out this information, honestly I was shocked. I never thought I'd see the day when Miley's dad says the kickoff to her career is what tore her family apart. From the looks of it on Hannah Montana they seem to have the most perfect relationship and lifestyle, he even wrote a song for her. I feel that when Miley sees this in the tabloids and reads next month's GQ interview it can go either one of two ways; she will contact him and try to make amends and clean up here act, or she will continue to do as she does now and not speak to her father.

Lindsay Lohan in Trouble...once again

It's hard to not be intrigued by actress/singer Lindsay Lohan. From her DUIs, to cocaine possession, to being put on suicide watch, you can't help but wonder what she will do next. Within the next few weeks, fresh out of rehab star  may be reappearing in court. This time, being accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, California in January. No decisions have been confirmed just yet, but it looks as if Lohan will be charged with a felony, facing up to three years in jail.

Maybe she'll actually face her sentence this time, and not get let out for "good behavior" or some other excuse. 

On January 22^nd, the singer/actress was caught on tape wearing the necklace, right before it went missing. It was turned into the Pacific Division police station by a friend of Lohan. Investigation is still being reviewed.

Lohan swears she is innocent, and has quite a few people backing her up.

“We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press,” Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told TMZ.

Lohan is still on probation from her DUI charge.

The question everyone keeps asking is why is she still doing this? When is she going to learn? Personally, I feel like some time in jail may do her some good-wake her up to reality and help her realize she needs to pull it together to save not only her reputation, but her life. 

 I think Lindsay Lohan is guilty. She has been in trouble with the law before, and there was also an incident with British Elle magazine where $400,000 worth of jewelry was stolen after Lohan used it for a shoot. Although Elle didn’t think it had anything to do with their model, in this case all signs point to Lohan. She was caught on tape wearing the necklace and almost immediately after it went missing, then her friend took it in to the police station, perhaps to help protect her? Since Lohan is still on probation there is a very good possibility it will be back to the cell for her. Maybe she called in a favor? Who wouldn’t do that for a friend?

Personally I think it’s a shame. I used to idolize Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap days and its just depressing to me to see what comes of too many childhood actors, such as Dustin Diamond, River Phoenix, and Danny Bonaduce to name a few.
